Meghan Monroe

Senior Program Associate
K-12 Education

Meghan is a Senior Program Associate on UNITE's K-12 team where she helps bring the Dignity Index to schools, districts, and educational groups across the country. She is an experienced classroom teacher with a strong background in social and emotional learning. She believes the Dignity Index helps students develop empathy, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills, all of which contribute to fostering a positive school culture. By learning to navigate disagreements with respect, students are empowered to create inclusive, collaborative environments where diverse perspectives are valued and constructive conversations can flourish.

Before joining UNITE, Meghan was an educator in the Washington D.C. public schools and also worked in the EdTech space as a Learning and Development Analyst and Client Success Manager.

Meghan is a proud HBCU graduate, where she holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Morris Brown College, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Howard University, and a Post-Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University.
